The Czech Ambassador to Turkmenistan presented copies of his credentials

On June 4, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Turkmenistan (with the residence in Tashkent) Lubomir Frebort, who presented copies of his credentials.

M.Byashimova congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible post and expressed the Turkmen side’s readiness to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the agenda of Turkmen-Czech relations, covering various areas of interstate cooperation. The interlocutors noted the positive experience of multilateral cooperation within the framework of authoritative international and regional organizations.

During the exchange of opinions on the prospects for expanding bilateral relations, it was noted that there is great potential for intensifying trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian contacts, in particular, interaction in the areas of education and culture.

Improving the legal framework for partnership was also recognized as a priority area.
