The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China completes his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan

On June 26, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the parties assessed the current level and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Chinese bilateral cooperation. The diplomats touched upon the development of relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The successful interaction of Turkmenistan and China within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN, was noted.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China for his personal contribution to strengthening bilateral ties and wished him success in his future activities.

In turn, the Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for its comprehensive support and assistance in the fulfillment of his diplomatic mission.
