Croatian Ambassador presented copies of his credentials

On April 22, 2025, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Hrvoje Cvetanovic, who presented copies of his credentials.

At the beginning of the meeting, M. Byashimova congratulated the Ambassador of Croatia on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in his diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the parties considered prospects for expanding relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Noting cooperation on international platforms, the interlocutors also expressed their readiness to continue the practice of mutual support for initiatives within the UN.

Along with this, the advisability of improving the bilateral legal framework was noted.

The parties also discussed issues related to holding the next meeting of the Turkmen-Croatian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
