The President of Turkmenistan received the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation

On August 5, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev, who arrived in our country to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

Having expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and invitation to take part in the International Conference, the guest conveyed warm words of greetings from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

Having warmly greeted the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the head of state thanked him for his participation in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and, taking the opportunity, conveyed his best wishes in return to President Vladimir Putin.

During the meeting, it was noted that holding this International Forum on Turkmen soil demonstrates Turkmenistan’s firm commitment to achieving sustainable development of landlocked countries and ensuring their successful entry into world markets.

Noting that trade and economic cooperation is an important area of Turkmen-Russian interstate dialogue, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the productivity of cooperation in such areas as transport, energy, industry, etc.

Along with this, the cultural and humanitarian sphere is recognized as an important component of bilateral cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan aims to further advance multifaceted cooperation with Russia, and wished Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev good health, prosperity and success in his responsible government activities.
