Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

On 26 August 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, A.B. Gochmyradov, and the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kh. Usmonzoda.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmenistan–Tajikistan cooperation in the scientific and analytical sphere, as well as issues related to further strengthening expert-level interaction.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation of a joint scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and the development of Turkmenistan–Tajikistan strategic cooperation.

It was noted that, this year, the Center for Strategic Studies organized two expert meetings in the “Central Asia +” format, which were attended by representative delegations from Turkmenistan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed their interest in further developing expert contacts, expanding scientific and analytical cooperation, and strengthening mutually beneficial collaboration.
