Meeting at the Committee on Religious Affairs, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan

On 15 September 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan and Mr. Davlatzoda Sulaimon Pirkhon, Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Akhtamzoda Abdulalim Akhtam, Rector of the Imam Azam – Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Sobit Tajik Islamic Institute.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. They emphasized the importance of further developing contacts and sharing experience in the relevant field.

Following the meeting, the participants visited the Imam Azam – Abu Hanifa Nu'man ibn Sobit Tajik Islamic Institute, where they familiarized themselves with the activities of the educational institution, the organization of the educational process, and its modern infrastructure.
