President of Turkmenistan Received Head of Çalık Holding

On October 30, 2026, as part of his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of the Çalık Holding group of companies.

Expressing his sincere gratitude for the time granted for the meeting, the businessman noted the historical significance of the Turkmen leader’s visit to Türkiye. It was emphasized that Türkiye highly values the significant progress achieved across all sectors in Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Taking the opportunity, Ahmet Çalık warmly congratulated the Head of State on being awarded an honorary doctorate in international relations by Hacettepe University, as well as the "Strategic Friendship" award from the Foreign Economic Relations Board of the Republic of Türkiye. The businessman also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the Hero-Arkadag.

Thanking him for his kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that Turkmen-Turkish relations are consistently strengthening, and that interstate cooperation is successfully developing across a number of areas.

It was underscored that, in its foreign economic relations with partner nations, Turkmenistan is guided by the principles of equality, mutual understanding and mutual respect.

Expressing his sincere appreciation for the high level of trust placed in him, Ahmet Çalık assured the Head of State that the company he leads would continue to fulfill its contractual obligations with a strong sense of responsibility. At the same time, the businessman expressed his gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Hero-Arkadag for the conditions being created for the productive operations of Turkish companies in Turkmenistan.
